OV Blood Pressure Tablets

Our OV Blood Pressure tablets contain a formulation of Beetroot extract, Dong Quai and Potassium. These tablets have been specifically designed to benefit the heart, blood and vascular health by targeting blood pressure.

Beetroot

Beetroot has been cultivated for a few thousand years, initially grown by the Romans. The vegetable was used in the 19th century as a cheek and lip stain due to the bright red colouring called betalain. Our beetroot is extracted from the root of the Beta vulgaris which is the beetroot that we know commercially.

Dong Quai

Dong Quai is a small perennial plant that is native to China and Japan. The plant can grow to 3ft tall and thrives in high altitude regions. Our Dong Quai is extracted from the root of the Angelica Sinensis where it is cut, dried and powdered for use in a tablet. Angelica Sinesis is suggested to act as an antioxidant, protecting cells and tissues against oxidative damage.

Potassium

Found in many types of sources, potassium was first isolated by Sir Humphrey Davy, a British chemist, via electrolysis from potash. Potassium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure. It also supports the normal functioning of muscles and the nervous system.

Our OV Blood Pressure tablets

Each of our OV Blood Pressure tablets is 10mm in diameter which is a very manageable size. We advise taking up to two tablets each day in conjunction with a healthy diet, one tablet at a time.

We recommend avoiding long periods of sunbathing whilst taking our OV Blood Pressure tablets.

Please note- Before taking this supplement if you have any medical conditions such as low blood pressure, please consult your healthcare practitioner. We advise you to also contact your health professional if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking any medications, before use of this product. Certain medications may interact with Dong Quai, including those for cholesterol and diabetes, and anti-coagulants. Supplements containing Dong Quai should not be taken alongside these medications.

We recommend that both the 500 and 1,000 tablet options are more suitable for use by more than one person. This is to ensure that you are receiving full use of the product before its expiry date. For one person's use, we recommend the 120 or 240 tablet options.
