Chromium Picolinate is colloquially known as Chromium (Cr). Chromium is a mineral, classed as an essential trace element because very small amounts of Chromium are essential for human health. There are two forms of Chromium: trivalent chromium and hexavalent chromium, with the former being found in food and supplements. The element was named accordingly from the Greek word for colour, chroma, due to its blue-white metallic shade. Good food sources of Chromium include muscles, lean meats and broccoli.
Our Chromium tablets contain Chromium Picolinate. Oxford Vitality provides Chromium Picolinate tablets in two strength options of 500mg and 1,000mg to suit your purchasing needs. We also provide four quantities to choose from. This product is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Each tablet is only 150mg in weight and 6mm in diameter, our smallest tablet size. This is for ease of consumption.
Please note - we recommend that both the 500 and 1,000 tablet options are more suitable for use by more than one person. This is to ensure that you are receiving full use of the product before its expiry date. For one person's use, we recommend the 120 or 240 tablet options.
